Government Agency looking for individual to oversee the writing of procedures to ensure that all builds of code used in those environments meets standards, is executable, and can be recreated when needed. Moreover this role is responsible for interacting with the entire application development staff, other IT staff, and other stakeholders to analyze proposed changes to technical configuration.

Duties To include:

Coordinate the installation of new hardware and 3rd party software with Database, Unix and Web administrators.

Responsible for the development of the process to build/compile code.

Responsible for deploying new software to 12 environments as needed.

Point of contact for version control tool for team of 60 developers.

Help determine the environment needs of development and test staff and plan strategy to implement.

Work with project and development teams to document and resolve implementation issues.

Create deployment schedule for each production release of software - gather steps from technical and support staff to ensure a smooth implementation.

Liaison between the development, test and production support teams.

Gather requirements and write scripts for system maintenance.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of team work plan.
